Skin Biorevitalization for Face & Body

Biorevitalization is the injection of hyaluronic acid-based products into the skin. The goal is not to change your facial features but to improve the quality of the skin: to hydrate it and restore its firmness and even tone. At Medest, biorevitalization is performed on the face, neck, décolleté and hands.
Who it is for
- dry, dehydrated skin with flaking and a feeling of tightness;
- a dull complexion, skin that looks tired and is losing firmness;
- the first signs of aging and fine lines;
- sun-damaged skin with signs of photoaging;
- preparation for plastic surgery or recovery afterward;
- scars, pigmentation spots or sebaceous gland problems — as part of comprehensive care.
How hyaluronic acid works
Hyaluronic acid holds water in the skin. With age, sun exposure and dry air, the skin has less of it and loses hydration and firmness. During biorevitalization, the product is injected directly into the dermis: it hydrates the tissue and stimulates skin cells that produce their own collagen and hyaluronic acid. That is why the skin changes not only right after the procedure but also over the following weeks.
Unlike fillers, biorevitalization products do not add volume or change facial contours. If you want to correct the shape of your lips, cheekbones or chin, facial contouring with fillers is the right option.
How the procedure works
- the doctor examines your skin, asks about your health and selects the product;
- the skin is cleansed and treated with an antiseptic;
- a local anesthetic is applied;
- the area is marked;
- the product is injected with a fine needle on a single-use syringe;
- a soothing product is applied to the skin at the end.
After the procedure, small bumps are visible at the injection points, and some redness and swelling are possible — they usually resolve within a couple of days. For this reason, it is best not to plan important meetings for the next few days. For the first few days, you are usually advised to avoid makeup, steam baths, saunas and swimming pools, and not to sunbathe.

How many procedures and when to expect results
The first changes are usually visible once the injection marks fade: the skin looks fresher and more hydrated. Biorevitalization is typically done as a course, and the result is then maintained with repeat procedures. On average, the clinical effect lasts 3–6 months. The doctor determines the number of procedures and the interval between them at the consultation.

Questions & answers
How is biorevitalization different from fillers?
A filler adds volume and changes contours — for example, of the lips or cheekbones. A biorevitalizant spreads within the skin and works on its quality: hydration, firmness and tone. Your facial features do not change.
How is biorevitalization different from mesotherapy?
Both are injections into the skin. In biorevitalization, the product is based on hyaluronic acid, while mesotherapy uses cocktails of various active ingredients tailored to a specific concern. The doctor decides what suits you after an examination.
When will the injection marks go away?
Small bumps and redness usually resolve within a couple of days. That is why it is best not to schedule the procedure right before an important event.
How many procedures do I need?
Biorevitalization is typically done as a course followed by maintenance procedures. On average, the effect lasts 3–6 months. The doctor determines the number of procedures and the interval at the consultation.
Can I have biorevitalization in summer?
Yes, if you follow the doctor's recommendations: avoid sunbathing for a few days after the procedure and use sunscreen. Read more in our article on biorevitalization before a vacation.
Can biorevitalization be combined with plasmatherapy?
Yes, these procedures are sometimes combined. The doctor chooses the order and interval individually — read more in our article on plasmatherapy and biorevitalization.
How much does biorevitalization cost?
Current prices for the products are listed in the table on this page. The doctor will give you an exact plan and cost after an examination.
