About this field
Permanent makeup is the placement of pigment into the superficial layers of the skin to define the brows, lips, and lash line. It saves time on daily makeup and looks neat in any situation: in the heat, at the pool, or after a workout. At Medest, the goal of permanent makeup is not a bold "drawn-on" look but a natural result tailored to your facial features.
What this area includes
All techniques are presented on the Permanent Makeup page:
- brows — microblading, machine hair strokes, powder shading, and combination techniques;
- lips — from a natural tint to a light lipstick effect;
- eyes — eyeliner and lash line enhancement;
- touch-ups — refreshing the color and shape after healing or some time later.
What happens at the first visit
Everything starts with a consultation. The specialist asks about your health and any allergies, assesses your skin and facial features, and discusses the result you would like. She then draws a sketch of the future shape and selects the pigment color. The procedure begins only once you are completely happy with the shape and shade.
After the procedure, you receive written aftercare instructions. The final color shows once the skin has healed, and a touch-up is usually scheduled to refine the shape and color. The result typically lasts 1 to 3 years, depending on the area, technique, skin, and aftercare.
Who it is for
- people with sparse, light, or asymmetrical brows;
- those who draw on their brows or eyeliner every day and want to save time;
- a pale or poorly defined lip contour;
- those who find it hard to apply makeup themselves, for example due to poor eyesight or an allergy to decorative cosmetics.

Questions & answers
Which technique should I choose for my brows?
Microblading and machine hair strokes imitate individual hairs, powder shading gives a soft diffused effect, and the combination technique brings both effects together. The specialist will advise what suits your brows and skin type at the consultation.
How long does permanent makeup last?
Typically 1 to 3 years. It depends on the area, technique, skin type, and aftercare, including sun protection.
Can I see the result in advance?
Yes. Before the procedure, the specialist draws a sketch, and you adjust it together. The pigment is applied only after you agree.
Who should not have permanent makeup?
The procedure is not performed during pregnancy and breastfeeding, or in the case of blood clotting disorders, cancer, inflammation or herpes in the treatment area, and a number of other conditions. The specialist will go over the full list at the consultation.
How much does permanent makeup cost?
Current prices are listed in the table on the service page; the cost depends on the area and technique. The specialist will give you an exact plan and cost after the consultation.
